Patience

This week was pretty crazy.
I read a talk earlier this week, or maybe last week about patience,
one part says "I had only three months left on my mission, and I
wanted to be out with the people--not sick in bed."
Oddly enough I was sick this week -_-
My stomach has been hurting super bad this week, so I went to the
doctors. They did some tests and there weren't any parasites in my
stomach. So they wanted me to come back today and do blood tests.
Those mostly came back positive, they are still waiting on one sample
to make sure all is good. I have to get my gallbladder looked at
though, it was very interesting brother Cobell, a GI doctor in our
ward, said he knew a sister missionary who served in Ukraine and she
got her gallbladder tested after all the other tests and said there
was an infection, they somehow traced it back to bagged yogurt, which
is really good. So I guess I will get it looked at and see what's up.
Also when I told the dr that I had a worm, she was super confused to
why I didn't come in before, ha I didn't know. But I guess I don't
have a bunch in my stomach..so that's good.
Patience though. Patience is a virtue and virtues never hurt you. Thanks mom. 😀
Also we recently listened to and talked about it with the Ciks, the
talk by Elder Wirthlin, come what may and love it. All of us have been
using that line when the day hasn't been going so well. It is a good
principle to learn.

Sundays are always the best. It was a good night with the YSA splits
as well, visited a few people and one of the guys who came with us
kept saying the gospel is so true, and I can't wait to go on a
mission, whereas only a few months ago he wasn't sure if he wanted to
go. Ah the Lord is so merciful with his tender mercies and allows us
to have so many simple and intense, testimony building, experiences.
Had a pretty sweet lesson with Gabe, we were talking about the
priesthood, and he is only 11 so we were talking about how he can
prepare for the priesthood and we asked, why do we have to be worthy
to hold the priesthood? His answer was so profound, he is so smart,
"because the power behind the priesthood won't be there and the Holy
Ghost won't be there." Dang I don't think I understood that until
maybe a few years ago.
We had dinner with the Irwins, and it was so awesome. They were
talking about missionary work and brother Irwin is all pumped up that
he just got called to be a ward missionary. It is so awesome to see
how the gospel has blessed their lives and how it has made them so
happy, they want to share it with others. They also talked about how
they all want to go on missions. It feels so good to see others be so
happy!!
We met other people this week and had some other lessons. We are
finding a lot of new people actually so it has been pretty sweet, now
we just need all of these people to progress!

Just got back from my ultra sound, it didn't come out quite like sab's
or Mel's  ha ha
They said the results will come back tomorrow. But I'm fine don't
worry about me, mamma cik is takin good care of us.

Also Trae one of the YM here got his mission call to the Ukraine Kiev
Mission!! I almost stood up in sacrament when it was announced and
cheered ha how awesome though!! I hope he gets to go to pechersky and
harkov. Ah I am so pumped for him!!

Love you and have a good week!
Love, Elder Witt
